During World War 2, we learned the cost of hate. 11 million civilians were butchered by the Nazis because they were deemed to be socially undesirable, because they were Gay, or Jewish, or Roma, or Trade Unionists, or Socialists, or Communists, or Freemasons, or Jehovah's Witnesses or mentally ill.
And so I dedicate this page to all those who perished because of hate: To the 11 million butchered by the Nazis, to the gay men and lesbian women hounded into committing suicide, to those gay bashed on the street, to those left to die of AIDS without medical treatment, to those murdered by the Ku Klux Klan and other hate groups, to those murdered by Muslim terrorists, to those murdered because organized religion taught their murderers it was okay to kill.
May we one day inherit a world of peace and may that day come swiftly and soon. Until that day comes, lets us remember those who were killed and those who suffer because of hate.
